Rules change. Entry rules for pets are set by each country and can change at short notice. This page was checked on 20 October 2026. Charter-A confirms the rules for your exact route and dates when you book, and you should always check the official source linked on the page.
What applies
- Check GOV.UK for an EHC; get a rabies blood test before you leave so the pet can come home without the 3-month wait.
Coming back to the UK
- GB pet health certificate + rabies blood test (at least 30 days after the vaccine; at least 0.5 IU/ml; EU-approved lab).
- 3-month wait from the blood sample date, waived if the test was done before leaving Great Britain or the EU, with supporting evidence.
- Dogs: tapeworm treatment 24 hours to 5 days before arrival.
Good to know
Turkey is an example.
Flying on a private charter means your pet stays with you in the cabin. We plan the arrival airport around the checks your route needs. See how it works or ask us for a quote.
